as most of you know the nightster has a solo seat...what are some good options for a seat for the little lady?

I was thinking of getting one of those suction cup seats but the slop of the fender where the seat would go is kinda steep so i'm thinkin i should just break down and get a new saddle all together...i still need it to look mean tho when she's not on it...

2nd issue...passenger pegs...what all do i need to istall them...i know i need a peg with a male end...now does the female screw into my frame somewhere...i thought about just getting the ones that clamp right on but i cant find a good place to do it on the nightster...any help would be greatly appreciated! thanks!

My 04 Sportster Had a Solo Seat No Passenger Pegs there is a Bolt in place can be removed for mounting.. If have a manual will make it easier to find.. Pegs and Mounts are expensive if buy New would try Ebay or perhaps post a Want to buy in here and may get lucky.. Would Suggest getting a 2 UP Seat if she is really serious about riding .. Can find deals on seats if patient, don't spend 300-400 on one until she is sure she truly wants to ride .. Some go around the block and thats the end of it ..

I got them to through in the side kick seat when i got my nighster,t takes obout two minuts to switch seats,i clip on the solo when i'm doing my own thing and switch to the sidekick when i'm going to double up.My wife says its comfortable enough.

 

The N is made for solo for a reason. It looks too good to be 2 up. However I do do it on occasion. I have the HD passanger pillion. The suction cup ones do not work very well, I have one and it will not fit due to the screw holding down the seat. There is a guy selling a very good looking 2 up seat in the sporty classifieds and a damn good price. Either way, get HD passanger pegs, new or used, and put something over the rear fender to protect it as the seat will rub the clear coat off your fender.

 

I have some passenger pegs and mounts, as well as a 2-up seat from the stock 1200R..if you're interested.
