All I know is that you need to have the weight off the rear end when you go to remove the upper rear shock mount bolt. If you don't have a motorcycle jack handy, you'll need someone to give you a hand getting the bolt back in. Be careful not to scratch the paint on your fender strut covers during the process. Stand back and pray to the Harley Bolt TorqueGod before you start and you may have an easy, problem free installation.

 

Damn, those are the ones I liked, but would not pay $650 for them. $250 is much better. Goes to show how much they mark up their stuff. I'll have to check the dealerships around to see if they have them cheaper. I have a craptastic set of ***** Max bags that I put on for the time being just so I could carry stuff around until I found good bags. Got the throwovers for around $100, cut the yolk off and attached them to my Easybrackets.
