looks cool, how comfortable is it compared to the stock position? I wonder what the headlight would look like with the bars the other way around. Any plans for a rear fender?

it is uncomfortable to ride with the flipped handlebars, but handling is better IMHO (riding position is similar to sport bike's riding style) anyway.. you get used to it over time.. I haven't seen a sportster with this headlight mod but keeping the original handlebars, everybody I have seen doing it went with drag bars or really low bars... I think this is from a "purist" point of view, you either convert the bike to a completely "old School" looking bike or you don't, but you should give it a try and post pics..

BTW... I am not a "Purist"!! I just followed the guidelines from the masters around here.... :-)

sorry for all the questions, but with your tank raised in front, do you notice that you get less mileage? I would assume that the low fuel light would come on earlier, and I'm not sure if all the gas in the tank is still accessible, but maybe 2" lift doesn't make a noticeable difference?

No problem, we are here to help, so do not hesitate to ask questions, and yes, the more you raise the tank, the less mileage you get before you get the warning light, and although I never let the bike run out of gas to compare before/after mileage after the warning light, I am certain it also affects how many miles you get after the warning light. in my opinion, although you negatively affect the amount of miles you can ride with a full tank by lifting the tank, it is not severe, I mean, the Iron/nightsters come with a little tank to begin with... not much you can do about it unless you get a bigger tank..
