Default help!-backfire thru pipes and carb

03 1200c
drag pipes, 175 main, 45 slo, se ac and stock=same thing happens

at low speed, or just taking off from a stop, the bike stumbles and back fires flames out the pipes and sometimes carb. or at say 30mph crusin fine, then i crack the throttle and it stumbles like its missing
if i rev the **** out of it or at high speed seems fine
i have a hd manual on the way, i'm thinking burnt valve
anybody have any idea before i tear into the motor, please help

sounds like it could be a acc pump problem or too lean idle mixture. air moves faster then fuel .to much air not enough fuel causes stumble or backfire.
