Wear your Harley T when you ride?
#21
I do own some Harley clothing, but I have found much of it to be better quality than some other stuff out there. The T-shirts I have are all pretty thick and comfy. I have a leather jacket that is very good quality, hell even my cut is a HD vest, I tried two others that didn't come from HD and they fell apart in no time. I guess I am not as cool as so many others on this board. Pride in the brand is not a bad thing either, hell if you don't have any, why are you even registered on this board?
I think its funny how if someone cleans their bike, wearss chaps, wear a certain type of gloves, a doo rag, anything with a HD logo on it, has a patch on a vest, stickers on a helmet, drinks coffee from Starbucks, has a decent job, or a host of other things they are looked down upon by all you "bikers"
Now, I don't personally wear chaps, nor fingerless gloves, no doo-rags either, and my bike has never seen a Starbucks parking lot, but I still got to know, why do so many of you give a f&*k what anyone else wears or does??? FTW right? DILLIGAF right?

I go full out on Harley gear when I'm riding. I got my Harley shirt with Harley vest (and if it's cold I'll put on my Harley jacket) along with my Harley helmet, Harley gloves, Harley pants with the Harley chaps. Also can't forget my Harley boots with my Harley socks and when I'm paying for my $hit I'll bust out my Harley wallet and charge it on my Harley Visa. I'm THAT coool!

The only Harley shirt I have is one that says "Happy Holidays" that I got free with purchase. To me, I would feel like a huge sucker paying $30 for a T-shirt that would make me a walking advertisement for some stealer. Always wear a jacket when I ride, so even if I did wear it, no one could see my Happy Holidays shirt!

I've got Harley t-shirts from all over the world that date back 18 years. The older ones still look good because I wouldn't wear them until I actually owned a Harley (December 27, 2002). Now, they're just t-shirts. When I'm visiting a new/distant dealership, I go to the discount rack. I prefer the ones that have a Bar-and-Shield with the dealers name on the back. I don't much care for the cartoon backs many dealers use.
