If you're wanting an upgrade that is noticable and definitely worth the few extra dollars - the dyna's are the way to go. I really like the street bob - but i went for the WG instead, and i don't regret it a bit!

Lol! You might be right about my dad! Dodge cummins are amazing machines. The holset turbos they sport are possibly the most efficient turbos made. They can move a lot of air really fast. Super quick spoll up times.

I just upgraded from sportster to sb. I love the street bob. it's a lot smoother and more stable, handles well (especially compared to my dads x-bones).

I like what I'm hearing in here! I'm trading in my 883L for a Street Bob in two days.

Honestly, I LOVE my Sportster, but I want to do more riding with The Girlfriend. I think for touring and passenger comfort the Street Bob is a big step up without veering too far away from a Sportster.

Also, a 96" rubber-mounted engine is nice! I just hope it doesn't run too much hotter than what I'm used to.

Going in monday to see about working a deal on a SB. Love the sportster, but the kids are older now and me and momma are taking alot more weekend rides of 700-800 miles and I need something bigger. Oh yeah, and that 6th gear is a real selling point for a BT if you do any highway travels. My sportster will keep up with the BT's, but when we stop for fuel I still am tingling while standing there.

Dynas are really just slightly bigger Sportsters: same frame geometry, just about 10% bigger.

But that 10% makes a big difference in legroom and passenger room.

And, yes, the extra grunt is better for two-up and the 6th gear is great on the highway. I can ride my Sporty anywhere with anyone, and I get better mileage than the BT riders. But, yes, I do get the "buzzies" while they sure don't :|

I almost bought an '09 Low Rider in March....almost.

But I used the trade-in-differential money I stashed to buy a new KLR. No regrets!

I also like what I am hearing here about the Street Bobs. I am going to try to get a deal on the 09s, hopefully there are other lefts at the dealer. I know last week, this guy beat me to one and bought it while I sitting on it.
