will changing wheels add weight?
I hate the stock mags on my 90 xl I would like to put a 19inch front and 16 inch rear spoke wheels how much weight would this add? I dont want to add much weight the bikes fast . thanks guys

Could always go Talon Hubs and Morad Alloy rims and reduce the weight significantly over your cast wheels.

I never weighed them, I've had both, but I'd bet the wire spokes weigh less than the cast wheels.

I thought the cast wheels were lighter than the stock steel spoked but I've never weighed them either.

Whether they are heavier, or lighter, it won't be enough that you are going to notice it while riding. The only time you would ever notice it, is if you put them on a scale to compare them.

Geeze...just leave off the extra cheeseburger, and beer. Run whatever wheel you want. I'm sure the difference in weight isn't as much as a healthy morning dump.
