baffle removal...bad?

Default baffle removal...bad?

so, I'm cheap.... I just got a 883 iron, and my buddy gave me his stock exhaust from his sporty.. if I remove the baffles is it gonna screw the whole thing up having little or no back preasure? any other suggestions?

Yes and with it any low end torque that you have.

If anything just take the baffles out and drill some holes in them. That will give you some of the noise you want plus keep the back pressure.

Can't go any cheaper than this. lol

You need back pressure.

You drill holes in the baffles you are by default changing the back pressure. How much? I don't know but it will affect it. Maybe you won't care.

Yrs ago, my hubby drilled my baffles to make my bike sound better. It worked great for a while (5 yrs to be exact), but as time led on, it started causing overheating problems.

This yr I got new pipes and looooove 'em! Worth every penny!

if you take tha baffles off and install you will get a nice deep sound not to radical it will still look stock and if and I doubt you will have any issues you can always put the originals back on very common practice amongst the keep my money in my pocket crowd

Amen.

They're only about $129 and I've never heard anything bad about them.

I have SE II's with them and the sound and performance is great.

I'd seriously consider this option.
