Default Throttle Grip?

ok- I've got aftermarket grips on my bike- but the throttle grip is working loose in the summer heat. The darn thng is coming off while I ride.

What kind of adheasive works best to put that thing back in place?

Your throttle is coming off? That doesn't sound right. If your whole assembly is loose, the bolts are loose.

Just the hand grip- slowly slides off -it's not good

at a minimum you can try hairspray as an adhesive.....otherwise just about anytype of silicone/caulk type adhesive will do the job.

ive always used hairspray. with that happening. i would just get new grips dude. not safe at all, if you need to jam the throttle real quick and all that happens is a spinning grip you will be fu(ked!

What Brand and what kind are they so I'll stay away from that style Grip.

Didn't know that this could happen, my aftermarket grips are held in place by a flange that sits inside the corntol switch housing. There is always a little wiggle side to side (like 1-2 mm of play), but nothing like what you describe. Sounds like a) the grips are junk/old and need to be replaced, or b) they are incorrectly installed.

There is a product available called "Griplock" about $3 - $6 a tube. It is sold through Midwest Motorcyle Parts distributors. (midwest is a wholesaler, but e&m motorcycle is a retailer for their products on line and locally in St. Louis.
