Default Attn: Nightster owners-Nightster Question

A guy that works for me has an 08' Nightster. He purchased the V and H fuel Pack. He cant seem to get it to fit under his seat. My question is, Where is the ideal place for it to go? The ECM is under the seat. Any help is appreciated.

Follow the video on the fuelpack website. Pull the wires above the battery as far to the left side of the bike as you can, and then shove the connectors up beside those wires at the same time. Having one person do the pulling and one do the shoving works best. It does fit just as the video says they just don't show the hard part of pulling all the wires to the left side of the bike so it fits. The actual pack attaches to the side of the battery under the battery cover.

Study the vid.

Then study it some more.

You can get it to fit.

was too much trouble for me, so i did it the lazy way, just put the fuelpak right on top of the ecm and bolted down the seat, no issues yet. note that your weight is not directly under the ecm area of your seat, should be right behind your *ss. i also wrapped the fuelpak w/a plastic ziploc bag & zip tied it to protect from water.
