I remember seeing someone put Roadking rear air shocks on a 08 Sportster, how do they fit? I found a used pair for my buddy's sportster, part number 54565-97A. Thanks!
I got a lowering kit for mine. And it still was raised about and inch. Get some washers cause they will need to be spaced out a tad. Otherwise it's staight forward,
i have road king shocks on mine right now. (i know its not in the sig) i love the ride, it is a definite improvement above the stock coil shocks. the only downside is that they are 13" eye to eye. electric glides' shocks however are shorter i believe 11 3/4 or sumthin. so i suggest those shocks.

Not quite, as far as I know they're exactly the same as the Road Kings. You may be thinking the FLHX or Street Glide which has the 12" lowering or "profile" shocks.
I have them on. Also put a 2 inch lowering kit on to bring it back down to stock height.
Love how it rides now.
What exactly is the 2" lowering kit and how does it work? I would like to put the RK shocks on my Nightster, since all the comments I've seen posted for this conversion are positive. But, I don't want to raise the rear end too much?
