I put the lower ones on my Iron, no washers needed for the left side, 4 washers needed for the right side (2 upper/2 lower) to clear the upper belt guard. Even with the lower shocks it raised the rear up just a tad and rides so nice now.

Nice slolane
How much pressure are you running in them. Do you use a bike tire pump to air them up?
I have to get a set they look soo sweet.

bently_owner: Mine are p/n: 54661-02A, 11 3/4" eye to eye.

ericb445: Thanks! So far I run 0psi solo riding (175lbs.) and 10psi for 2 up riding and it's very nice. My shocks came with the bungs in them so I went to Napa Auto Parts and got 2 Industrial Tank Valve's (p/n: 90-294) from their Tire Hardware section. I use my mountain bike shock pump to pump them up.

Any other questions just lemme know.

Will these fit on an 07 883 XLC? They look sweet! I really need to smooth out the ride on my sporty!

+1 on the low profile shocks. They look a lot better than the standard touring air shocks, but I am still trying to decide on whether or not to put my old air shocks off the Road King on or keep these. I think the standard air shocks ride better.

You guys got me sold on putting on some RK shocks.
Any reason they wouldn't fit my 99 Custom?
These 12.5" Progressive HD 412's ain't cuttin' it!

BSW3 - I think they will fit your ride... maybe another board member can chime in to be sure... don't bother with the dealer... they will tell you they won't fit, LOL.

UPSBROWN - Your right, the standard ones (with more travel) will sit you up higher and should ride better too.

freekdawg1200 - I'm not sure if they will fit or not. The Progressive's not working for you? I have heard they aren't as soft as many would like.

Austen - Thanks for the pics! It's nice to see with and without the lowering blocks.
