I refilled mine with 9 oz of Mobil 1 transmission fluid which is about 7.5 wt. They work great.

I drained mine and filled it with 10wt belray SHOCK oil 10oz ea and installed a shrader valve between the seat and tank on the frame, I also replaced the Plastic air fittings on the shocks with ALL brass ones from a "hose shop" they sell Big rig air line fittings:

I have 2012 HD 48 and thinking of putting a Road king shock ( 54565-97C ) my mechanic said it wouldn't work since i'm only 150 lbs. and 5'5" ht.
I'm also considering a "TEC" shocks with a piggy back 12.3 in length.
pls help.
