seikan1....Dude, from W. VA....ride the Snake. Another named ride, but not as well known. Outta Bristol, take 421 down to Mountain City. It's every bit as twisty as the Dragon, and a heck of a lost closer to ya. I think there are close to 500 curves in that ride, that is stretched out over about 25 miles. Runs through the Cherokee National Forrest.

Not sure about all those numbers. But it's a good ride!

In GA near Vogel State Park (Blairsville area) try Hwy 180 (also called Wolf Pen Gap Road) from about the park at Lake Winfield Scott to Vogel. I've only hiked it after doing part of the Appliachian Trail over Blood Mountain...but it is a great road. You miss a turn in a couple of places and it's a good long way down to a landing spot!

Good camping at Vogel, too. Plenty of really twisty and scenic rides all over this area.

man i caught 421 from lexington ky down to sanford nc. the whole trip was a trip.
