Beginner thats just a word. Your riding doing something you enjoy. You will always be learning something. I been riding for 44yrs and still learn something every now and then. I don't know it all and don't claim to. You constantly got to be watching these idiots on the road be it car, truck and yes there are some on two wheels too.
The term beginner is all in your mind. I've had my cert for over 30 years. One thing I can tell you is that I treat every ride as practice for my next one.

I've been riding since 1959 if a Sears Moped counts.
You bet!!! My first scoot was an 1982 Puch Moped, damn thing was rock solid and shaped like a motorcyle not like a typical moped. Used it in college as it allowed me to get into the bike paths (non-powered of course) to park in the bike racks at UCSB. Buzzed around Santa Barbara for almost 10 years with that thing.
That little thing was my beginner bike, but when i got my little Ninja in 2000 I had to start all over again, as a beginner! And all i cared about was riding, not what other people thought of me.
