Default I lost my rear fender!!!....

I was desperate to get on the road, I was rushing to finish the ECM relocation, going back and forth between tasks, and in a moment of pure genius I forgot to tighten the rear fender bolts. I get on the road, I ride up to Bruce Rossmeyer's store where I bought my bike to pay my respects.. ride around... stop to get a sandwich, and when I go back to my bike the fender is gone!!!.. I am an idiot!.. LOL!!!

Funny thing is that the bike looks kind of cool without the rear fender.. so fellas... can you please help a fellow rider? anybody has a rear fender I can use on an Iron ???.. or do you know where I can order the simplest, stock looking rear fender? thanks much!!!!!

+1 on Ebay...HD dropped my bike when I first bought mine and they gave me an option to either buy a new one for half (175) or have it repainted. If you want, I can give you mine for 175 and order he new one. The scratch is very very minor, but having OCD buying a brand new bike, understand that any scratch is choas, regardless of size.

How can you not hear that thing fall off? Did you retrace your ride and try and find it? Wow!

I've been wondering the same thing. Plus with the tire rotation, talk about opening yourself up to some bad **** happening.

hey fellas... well... I chopped this fender so much that it was probably just 1/3 the weight of the original one... so when it fell it probably didn't make much noise, I definitely didn't hear it hitting the road...

Hey SteveO... thanks for the offer... I just have to wait a little bit longer until the next paycheck... but I will keep your offer in mind..

thanks for the ebay idea... hey HogWash... I have been browsing through the online catalog.. I cannot find the chopped fender + spring seat kit... did you find it online... or do you have a hardcopy of the catalog?

I am glad nothing bad happened to me or the bike... gotta be a lot more careful next time... :-)

Happy riding!..

Have any pictures of what it looked like before it fell off? I'm guessing when you are saying it was 1/3 the weight as stock, you had cut it a lot more since the last time you cut it??
