Looked good before and even better now. I would leave the tank plain, but that's just me.

Looks great. I would get some black and red pin striping on the tank and fenders to "set it off" but that is just me.

Thanks guys... will227, yes I did the chop myself and it wasn't hard at all. I stripped all the wiring out, then taped it off, marked it and then cut it off with a grinder cut-off wheel. Used the grinder with a grinding blade to round it off and then done and ready for paint. She bought the run/turn/brake controller in order to get rid of the brake light, however the wire from the controller is still suppose to plug into the brake light and then the turn sigs plug into the brake light. I ended up pulling the circuit board out of the brake light and figured out which wire did what. After that, I hard wired everything up (no connectors) and used some 3M double sided tape and zip ties to get all the wires tucked up tight, nice and neat. No more brake tail light. I should add that I did run wires back to the seat and then down and back along the swingarm for the tag light with a plug so that I can hook it up when it gets here later this week.

She has read through this thread and is now on the fence about the badges. It may be a game time decision on her part. She'll be the one to say yay or nay.

No.

I think the bike looks muscley and you/her did a bang up job, I do have to concur with others with no emblems on the tank and really agree with HarleyGoodies about the pinstriping.
