I wear a 3/4 helmet (it's the same one I use for drag racing my 10-sec '87 Buick Grand National; see pic) and keep an old light green washcloth in my fork bag. If it starts to rain or get really "buggy" on my canyon rides I just fold the washcloth in half and stuff it between my jawline and the helmet lining.

Not only do I NOT wear a bandana, I look for bugs to catch on my face and do all I can to get them. Standing up, one foot off the footpeg at 80+ mph is my favorite. Right in the middle of my forehead is my favorite target spot. If the bug's going low, I open up for the snack!

Rocks are my favorite! I'm missing three of my front teeth from when I mistook them for bugs. Learned my lesson on that one though, I only try to catch the smaller ones (rocks, that is) in my toothgaps now.

I can be seen regularly riding down the road, one hand on the throttle, the other pulling out my hair while screaming the lyrics of "BORN TO BE WILD". I don't like to ride with one hand doing nothing, and I figure this solves the problem best and the screaming draws more attention to me.

Just thought I'd share.

good call on the panties...

I would say to each their own on wearing a bandana. It really can help bugs etc. THAT SAID...the OP said he ordered a Skull bandana...keep in mind this is my 2cents...but i laugh at people who ride with skull bandanas or the neoprene masks with skulls or evil clowns and ****. I dont laugh at a regular bandana, but something about the skulls and clowns just look like you are trying too hard or need a prop to be cool. And "ordered" it...so pay too much and pay shipping. Kmart, walmart, etc all have regular bandanas in stock made by children that work just fine. I guess lameness costs more....

Wear what your comfortable in. Leather vest, boots, gloves. How about a mohawk on your helmet?
Speedos and a belly button shirt with assless chaps and crocs would probably look pretty cool.
Anybody can wear a t-shirt and bluejeans with workboots. (Redneck)

HUM, how about a darth vader outfit.

I'll wear what I please.
