CH as per the metzler web site 40 rear -38 front.I even called metzler and talked to a tech to verify the correct psi.I weigh about 200 and always ride solo .I just go through tires.Must be the NC. roads.
That's pretty strange. I have a couple of Sporty friends along with myself that like to run the twisties pretty hard in NC, and all of us get 15K+ out of the 880 rears. But yea, 40 PSI is correct on the rear for the 880. Or, are you the burnout King in your town?

Twisty's will do that to rubber tires, there nothing we can do about it

I had Metz put on my bike ( Heritage ) last Saturday.
I weigh 200 lbs....ride solo. My (indy) said exactly the same tire pressure.
So far...I like the 'feel' while riding. I hope I get good milage. I find the Dunlop tires wear quickly but maybe they're all the same. Either way, still fun to ride.
Most of my riding is on the back roads (twisties).I don't do burn outs or rear brake slides(tires cost to much) lol. When I talked to the tech at metzler they recommended trying the 160 /80/16 instead of the 150. .But I had already ordered a new 150/80/16.It will be 2 weeks tomorrow since I put the new rear tire on and I already have over 1300 miles on the tire. So at this rate I won't have to wait to long to try the 160.
