Seat for short inseam lady
Does anyone know of a comfortable seat that will push the rider forward a bit and keeps a very low profile. My wife has a 2004 883 sportster custom and is having trouble with reaching the forward controls and the ground. We have lowered the bike using shorter shocks, dropped the front forks and changed the handle bars for better reach but the last thing seems to be the forward reach to the foot controls. Need a seat that can do this well?????
thanks for the info in advance.

man ya shoulda got a low, if ya woulda done all that stuff to a low she'd prolbely be good.
ok coulda, woulda shoulda bull **** aside.
have ya thought about switching to mid controls? i'm sure you could trade someone strait up on this forum for them, ppl love forwards, i bet that would help immesnley
as far as seats go, the only advice i got is go to a local custom seat guy with the current seat and see if he can just shave some foam outta it. a local guy does it around me and only charged my bud 100 bucks to do it and it looks just the way it did just sits lower.

Thanks for he quick hints. I'm stuck with the bike for now. Its a great bike with only 3500 km on it. Mid controls might be the way to go in the end, but want to try seat direction first. Was looking at Harley's Low Profile Solo Seat, but wanted to know if anyone had this seat and did it really move the rider forward at all?/
thanks
