Some of the new items/parts for Sportys include...

A factory chopped rear fender (just like on the Nightster and Iron)
Brown Spring Solo Seat ('10 models, may fit '06 earlier)
Mini Footboards
#1 Skull Collection additions (fuel cap medallion, new look derby and timer covers, air cleaner trim)
Adjustable passenger footpeg mount

An option for black would be nice though, to go with the whole blacked-out Iron 883 thing...

Only other negative is the pricing; $270 for the seat and ANOTHER $230 for the springs/hardware kit...!

hmm the 09 had self cancelling turn signals.. I wonder of the 2010 has it as well... the way the turn signals are (1 on eachbar) I would assume so..

Yep, just looked on the H-D website; chrome it is...

Which makes absolutely ZERO sense!

Now, when I gets me a 2010 Iron 883, I gotta go find an aftermarket black derby cover, or consider having the Dark Custom covers for both the derby & timer covers. I like the look of the Dark Custom cover on the timer side, but not really sure about the derby side.

You can't have everything the way you want it. The MOCO wants more money from you.

I installed the Dark Custom derby & timing cover on my Iron. I thought it was an interesting choice to go chrome, the matching flat black derby cover looks nice ... just makes you want to change it out quicker, & oh yeah ... spend more money faster.

Don't get too excited about the new bikes. I was told by a dealer that they were going to delay production on most all of them to clear out the remaining 2009 inventory. Dunno if that was just sales BS, or the truth.
