I'm wondering if there is going to be a mid-year release or if they canned the other bike... I know there was another bike that was supposed to be at the 2010 launch and it was awesome. Look for it at mid-year I guess... The X should follow the same history as the regular XR I hope, and be released as well in the states at mid-year. I'd like to see that bike here. The features that bike offers are awesome... fully adjustable ohlein's suspension.. an addition of power would be nice too...

It all seems very low-key this year. Minor changes and simple variations on a theme to give the impression of something new without costing H-D an awful lot. I guess that just reflects the current economic situation around the world and the slump in motorcycle sales, particularly in the US.
I like the XR1200X, but I've a feeling it would be cheaper to buy the standard XR1200 and fit adjustable rear shocks yourself, since that appears to be the only difference apart from the paint. That way you can have both adjustable shocks AND shiny paint, if dull blackness is not your cup of tea.

Also finally get 883 Iron.
And we still get the 883 Custom.
No prices marked anywhere, guessing the iron will be around AUS 13-13.5k on road.
The only 1200 you can get is a custom, nightster or XR.
Wide glide is pick of bunch, but that XR1200X isn't without its appeal either...
