I prefer the look of the drag bars

 

I switch mine out regularly, depending on the mood I'm in. If Im just cruising, I like tall bars. If I'm wanting to just tear a$$, shorties are great. I have drags, broomsticks, high bars, mid bars, and I just ordered a set of clip-on's. I am interested in seeing why others like the bars they use.

 

i like drag bars...like the look and the feel...i feel more in control than i do with apes

 

Love my apes, when i got my first set they were NOT a dime a dozen, now everyone has gimps, so i switched to smart gimps (had to stay with the same company, NASH is the best hands down.) Love the look, love the feel, i'm not an aggressive rider, more of a low and slow kinda guy.

plus i'm 6'3 and well if ya have ever seen a monkey ****in a football then ya get it...

apes and clip ons are the coolest IMO clip ons just don't fit me

Apes. Better looking and way more comfortable riding position. I feel plenty in control and I can push it into corners if I want. But it is still a Harley so I am not trying to keep up with Busa's, just enjoying the ride.

 

Drags all the way. They look bad ***, give the bike a sporty feel and jusy over all completed the bar hopper look for my bike. I have 15 degree drags on the HD 4" curved risers.

 

Hey man, what clip-ons did you get? Do they require modification to fit HD controls?

 

I have cut a notch in the ring clamp on my controls so I could use ANY 1'' bar that isn't dimpled. I just run the wires thru the notch. So the clip-ons should not need any mods for MY controls. They are not dimpled so you might have do a little tweaking to make them work. I got them from Rockwall Bodyworks. They should be ready by Wed. of next week. I'll post pics when I get them on.
