I just got a 77 xlch from my son. It runs, but is going to take a lot of work to put it into decent shape. The first problem is that I'm an older guy with no cartilage in either knee and this is a ch. Anybody had any experience with putting an electric start on one of these bikes? Would an electronic ignition make it any easier to kick-start?
And to think, back in the day I thought electric starters were for wimps
