How did your test ride go?

At the local dealer, they'll do a day rental where you can try 3 bikes. If you buy, they'll deduct the rental fee from the purchase price.

Ride a Nightster then a Custom w/ forwards, see what feels right to you.

I prefer mids w/ a set of highway pegs. Feels better with my feet underneath me.

BTW I'm 6'3''

If you buy a Sportster, eventually someone (probably a salesman) will tell you that you need a bigger bike. Unless you are shorter than 5'5" - then they'll tell you to trade on a Deluxe.
