Default slip-on exhaust

I am looking to change mufflers for this season and am looking at two slip-ons...Cycle Shack Slash Cut and Vance and Hines Straight Shot. I am trying to acheive better sound quality and performance without compromising good looks and quality. Next season I plan on changing the entire exhaust system. I am looking for any advice or info on those two slip-ons. Thanks and appreciate it.

I put CS slip-ons on my bike and love them. Great sound, look great and Jireh's will ship to your door for under $130.

I can't recall ever hearing anything bad about VH. Loud, good quality, good looks, etc.

Based on the VH reviews and my own experience with CS, I'd say you can't go wrong with either option.

People claim that the slash cuts tend to be a little louder, while the tapered ones tend to have a slightly deeper sound to them. Unless you have a very trained ear/sensitive hearing I don't think you will know the difference.
