My wife got a solo seat for hers and she had similar dirt & marks on her fender. I washed the bike but the marks didn't come off. The underside of her stock seat has two hard black plastic nub areas that apparently have been touching the fender. I couldn't get it off but luckily her solo covers it.

I had a similar problem with my seat. A couple of staples were scratching the paint. I went and bought some small rubber bumpers that you put on the back of paintings (one side is sticky) and put them over the staples. Not more scratching.

Last week I was at Carlisle PA for the bike event, I was in the Mustang tent and i saw them doing a install on a customer bike. They put wax on the black rubber mount under the seat. I use the mustang solo and there passenger rear seat. I remove the passenger rear seat when I don't have the little women on the back and when I remove seat it leaves a little mark. The mark come off when you wax it, so I'm going to give this little trick a try.

I just put a solo seat on my bike last month and there are still rub marks on the rear fender from teh stock seat. I have used good wax and haze remover and they are stil there. I power buffer might work, but I don't want to risk bunring the paint so i just deal with it.
