that's kinda what I was thinking, I have seen threads debating if the skinny or fat tire have the better handeling. I personally like the look of the skinny 21" wheel.

I'm starting to come around to the PHAT front tires though!

See I like the tall skinny front tire, but like the looks of the wiper forks like is on my buddys 07 Dyna Low Rider. My other buddys 07 Soft tail standard forks are super wide and would look dumb on a sporty. I can't stand the fat front tire look so I guess that is why the Fat Boy is one of my least fav HD's

The mid-glide looks like it really belongs to the spory, but the wide-glide looks meaner.
I'd go for the wide.

Just replace the triple trees, or buy a whole kit?

I didn't like the 'choppy ride' caused by the short wheel base and small 39mm tubes.

Ended up going with a 14 degree over (44 degree total) WideGlide front end with 8 inch over 41mm tubes, chromed uppers and lowers, and a heavier duty chromed 4-piston front caliper with braided line.

I like a pretty firm, stable ride, and the 41mm WideGlide front end and longer wheel base did the trick.

The ride quality at speed is now as good of that of the Dyna's I also own.

Good thread. I'd like to see more pictures of the mod though. I've been tossing the idea around in my head for some time now.

I know this is an old post but is this the stock or a 3 deg. rake. Your Bike is exactly the look I'm going for! Awesome!
