I won't ride in shorts, but a month ago I was working on the sticky throttle, revving the bike in shorts, running it in the driveway, and climbed on from the wrong side. Right leg on back pipe= second degree burn. Nice scar now.

No shorts, especially with these pipes. You WILL get burned.

Ask me how I know...Sideshots + low Chuck Taylor's + no socks = pain...

Your ankle bone is positioned perfectly to grill your own flesh.

All I can say is they look killer, but I would not dare ride with these pipes in shorts.

So far so good. I know eventually something could happen and I might regret wearing shorts on the bike. Or I might be in my truck someday and get run over by an 18 wheeler. Maybe be walkin down the street and get hit by a car. Just don't live my life worrying about it. Helmet, a must (don't want to be a veggie in a minor crash). Flip flops, just askin for trouble, missed shift, loose a shoe while trying to brake (could kill you). Shorts, could get road rash, I'm not so pretty anyway, so whats a scar or two.

As for being careful out there. Thanks, will do.
