My wife won't ride with me, I won't force her

My wife loves riding with me. My only problem is it is the first thing I think of on a nice day off (and the second and third) but she sometimes would prefer a different activity. We work well and can compromise pretty well. She, like most I think, loves that I want to do this stuff with her. She told me when I got the bike that it was either a harley or she wasn't going.

Excellent! That is a pretty much constant objective of mine (with my wife that is, although I haven't seen yours...).

My time riding is my alone time, as well. It's about the only chance I get to away from somebody's bitching and whining. My wife doesn't like to ride, and I told her "Good, because chics won't be checking me out with you on the back." She must have thought I was kidding, because she hasn't Arturo Gatti'd me yet.

My wife doesn't like to ride much. That's ok with me. She says the seat is uncomfortable, and I'm sure it is. When we do ride together, she likes to get there fast whereas I like to take the long way. I ride on my days off while she's at work. That's the one great thing about rotating shifts.
