Default what is included in a tank lift kit? I added some Pics of the one I made.

Is it just the two pieces that lift the front of the tank up. Or is it more To it then that?

You need 2 new nuts, 2 bolts, and lots of washers to use as spacers too. The stock fuel line is usually plenty long enough. Just be careful when lifting the tank up not to yank on the wires and line too much. Its a very simple mod.

Joe mentioned it all. Don't be one of those guys who buys a kit from some supplier(they are ridiculasly expensive) . you can make it yourself from supplies you can buy at home depot (totaling $1.00 - $6.00). or do what plenty of us have done.... Cut it out of a street sign. I did that but I used stainless steel screws I picked up from Home Depot

Yep I am way too cheap and way too handy to pay for a kit.
I wasnt sure if there was more to it, I wasnt sure about mount on the back part on the tank by the seat.

Make sure you have the new spark wires though when you do it. otherwise you'll be like me and be all ready to relocate the coil and realize you don't have a long enough spark cable so then you put the coil back and mount the tank. haha. So i have all hidden wires but still have my coil and ignition in the stock place. Oh well. I'll get to it some other time.... LOL

LOL! I did the same but got one step further than you. I actually had the coil relocated and relized I couldn't use the stock short one. I was supposed to be leaving for a ride in like 30min so I had to frantically run down to the dealer and hope they had what I needed in stock (which they almost never do). Of course I get there and they don't have it so I am now running wires that are a little long but I think it looks pretty good.

Thanks Guys
I made my tank lift tonight, took about an hour that was mostly looking for something I could use to cut up. I raised it right about two and half inches. It looks sooooo schweet.
Now I want to do the coil and key switch mod. In time In time.

Pics soon to come
