I have a 09 iron, I get about 100 miles on it then the low fuel light comes on? Is this avg. from what you guys get? I dont drive fast all the time or anything, Any Help
This is normal. When the low fuel light comes on you have around 0.8 gallons left and the tank only holds 3.3 gallons. So if you are getting 100 miles in when the light comes on it means you are getting around 40 miles per gallon, which is right around what the specs are.

The Harley Davidson published specifications for the 883 Iron show an estimated mileage of 45 City, 60 Highway...
40 MPG for an 883 EVO seems very low to me, but I guess it depends alot of how your ride and where you ride, along with how the bike is tuned.
My modified 1200C puts out right around 85 horsepower with the Screamin' Eagle "E" high flow cams, and I still average 50 MPG.
My light goes on at about 99 miles everytime and i've usually got 1-1.3 gallon(s) left. I get about 48 mpg in the city and about 55-60 on the highway (depending on speed and wind).
