Default Gotta say...

I was having work done on my low rider and was sitting there at harley dealer with a 883 iron next to me. I truly think its the coolest looking stock harley out there! I thought the nightster looked badazz till I saw the Iron. I know it's a sporty but if I had to get a second ride I think that would be it. Ofcourse i'd have to do the 1200 conv. The blacked out engine rocks!

I thought the only difference between a Iron and Nightster was the engine displacement...?

The iron is more blacked out than a Nightster.

Its a cool looking bike and if looking for a new Harley cheap its a great one to start with.

I had the great pleasure of riding a 1200c for a month(1200miles) And loved it but the bike was too small my legs were hanging out and making me tired LOL I'm 5'10 and Though the iron and nightsters look killer and run like mad anybody over 5'8 IMO is going to find that too small unless it's for riding just around the city.... (Damn now I wish I could go out and get one tomorrow!)

Yeah the Iron does look different. With the exception of the XR I agree that it is the best looking Harley out there. I would buy one.

If I bought one I'd bore the cases then go with a 88" kit and then put a dot between the eight and the three. That way when someone asked me is that an 883 I can say yeap it sure is, it's a 88.3 !! Of course they are talking CC's and I'd be talking CI's.
