I have 08 nightster, I was planning on switching to HD 12" mini ape. I used the search tool and gather a few information.

I just bought these following cable:

38913-09 - THROTTLE & IDLE CABLES

38911-09 - CLUTCH CABLE

46720-09 - BRAKE LINES

when I got them today, I took them out to compare with my stock ones right now. I feel like they are the same length???

Did I just spend my money to waste?

What other cables (what about electric calbes?) do i need to complete my mini ape switching?

I ordered the same part #'s with the black min apes for the wifes bike from Chicago HD got the part #'s from the HD book so I hope they are the rite ones. as far as wiring from what I have read there should be enough wiring there.

 

well checked the book and all your # are correct for HD 12" mini wini bars
so you should be ok,just dont loose the little brass ferrules on the go juice cables

 

Anytime I have done handlebars, I bought the bars first did a moch up and then order cables by what length I wanted instead of compromissing for something close.
It my take a little longer but it always works and that's hy you should do this in the winter so you aren't in a big rush.

not sure......go on hd's site and look under motor accessories for the sportster. if not try the search tool on their site. they cost me around 225$.
