My 09 Nightster came from the factory with the lights, fender and plate bracket from a Custom. Something about Canadian bikes having problems with the integrated lights and bracket passing local legislation so they are building them that way for my market....so my bike looks a little more 'classic' than 'bobber'.

Anyone know if HD is making the side bracket available as an accessory, or if there's an aftermarket one that would work?

You should be able to buy it thru Harley. You may even want to check ebay...Just a thought.

 

If the factory is making one model with two different configurations then you know it's going to be a plug-n-play swap.

 

Thanks guys. I can't find the bits either online or in the paper catalog, but maybe the dealer can get a hold of a Nighster rear fender/light/plate setup direct from the factory.

Man, this is an expensive hobby!!

 

Check ebay and craigs list for someone parting out a crashed bike...you may find what you want.
