Default going from 3.3 to 4.5 gal tank on Nightster

going from small tank to big tank Is the 127$$$$ kit in the parts book a must? the fuel pump mounting plate looks exactly the same on both modz but the book said it was required for the install. Is it just another way to make money? Any input would be great the dealership was no help! Thanks Spec.

Everything is the same. The fuel pump is a direct bolt in. The only thing i would get is a new o-ring for the fuel pump assy. If you have anyother questions just let me know as I've already done the swap on mine.

Since he isn't asking for personal opinions, unless you're making the payments on his bike, your opinion ain't worth squat.

Thanks for all the input and the opinions. As for the custom I would have bought one but wanted the black and gunmetal gray not chrome. like the bob fenders just want the nightster to be my own and suspected there weren't to many with the 4.5. Thanks again Spec. Also got a the matching 1200 custom front and rear fender with few small scratches still trying to find the time to buff them. They are vivid black and the front fender has the gray pin strip like the nightsters tank
