Aiken?

If so, that's not to far from Augusta GA. Use to live there when I was a kid and only remember a few things, but you must check out Sconyers BBQ. They also have river boat races that we use to go to yearly and I remember having fun there.

Pops lives in Anderson SC. There's a lot of great roads in SC, but there's a lot of deer too.

Its a nice area, I moved from Upstate NY (Newport) almost 14 years ago and don't regret it one bit.

I live about 30 miles NE of Greenville, SC.

Were you at that ride in at Quaker Steak there in Greenville about a month ago? Pops, my step mom, my step bro, his boss and I were all there. Was a decent little turn out.

I went to Aiken to have the roll cage put in my race car at NRC motorsports. Looks like a nice little town.

You'll only be a couple of hours from Asheville, NC. and the Blue Ridge Parkaway in the mountains, and many nice riding roads...

Yeah you won't miss that winter.Very little down time in the winter especially if you ride in the cold up there.Great small town.Beware though people are definitely friendlier than NY.I'm from upstate NY and have been down south since the 70's.Always ask people how there doing by habit. When I go home you ask people that and they look at you like you're gonna rob them or something. To bad the governor has bought SC to national attention for the wrong reason.Good luck and enjoy.Post up when you get here. That's a nice ride from where I live in Ga Be happy to ride over and buy ya a welcome to cackalacky beer.G.
