You have to drop the wheel and fender.

Yup, just get a motorcycle jack, take off the front fender and wheel.

Drill a 1/4 in. pilot hole first. Drill slowly, it's aluminum

If your talking about the mount for the new headlight, i had to take the grinder to the sides of the mount until it fit just right.

I dont think so, maybe a better description is needed... I got the headlight housing mounted, I am trying to make the stock HD headlight fit into the aftermarket housing. It all sits correctly but the front cap that goes onto the after market housing doesnt sit flush. The stock HD light is a tad bigger than the end cap that sits on the front of the housing. I know ive seen some guys run that same housing with the stock HD headlight(not the bulb, the glass housing). I think a guy name Slackster has it done.. not sure how he did it thou.. I took a grinder to it, but dont want to ruin it.
