Default Cheapest Loudest pipes

I am not looking for good looking pipes. They do not have to have heat shields since I am going to wrap them. I do want a straight pipe look though. These are going to go on a '09 Nightster.

Thank you

Cheapest? Remove the heat shields, and wrap the head pipes. Use a hole saw and drill out the center out of the baffles.

Not the loudest, but loud enough, and no re-map, adjustment, etc. required.

take the slip ons off and remove the heat sheild, bam you got skinny short drags,

1 3/4 inch pipes about 20 inches long is the loudest possible pipes you can get, the sound is kinda tinny though, if you want loud and deep get 2 inch short drags,

it wont sound the way you want it to while on it you have to let some one ride it so u can hear what everyone else is hearing.

1 3/4 drags would have to be some of the loudest pipes I've heard, as stated above. They aren't going to have the deep rumble sound, but definitely the loudest. They still sound good though

For that purpose...Cycle shack drag pipes. I prefer the cycle shack mufflers. You'll loose some mid range torque with straight pipes, and no back pressure.

But they are good pipes for the money.

I went with Cycle Shack slip-ons. I think they were like $150. They are loud but not the loudest.
