Default Harley 883C Neutral Switch Problem

When I first got my bike, I upgraded my bike with more comfortable handlebars with internal wiring. When the local Harley dealership installed the handlebars, they told me that a wire was missing to where you could clutch the bike and crank it in gear so therefore, I have been cranking mine in neutral since. Around May, I noticed that the neutral light quit registering after the bike was rode for a while and it wouldn't allow me to crank it. It seemed as if once the bike got hot, it would have to cool down before the neutral light would come back on. Got it out of the Harley shop again today and they said the switch had come unplugged however, it is still doing the same thing. Any ideas on what it might be?

What year of Sporty is it? I had a similar issue with an 09 Bagger. Ended up being in the TSSM module. Replaced it, as expensive as they are, and solve the problem.
