It's tight in the Sportster 883L too. Had to splice some wires to make it fit, but it's velcro'd to the battery now. Fit's nicely once you get the wires to reach. Works great too.

its extremely hard i worked on it for 3 days with my grandpa whos worked on bikes for years. we thought for sure it was not possible but we finaly got it. just takes alot of movin around. it will fit but i think its a bad design to cram it in there like that i have a nightster too

a few more exclamation points should get it tuned in just right!

Default Got it!!!

Well, What I did was pulled down the battery strap, and took the main harness and pushed it down and moved it to the left of the bike (towards me). Then the grey and black connector fit where they were "supposed" to. Still had to muscle the battery in but it was a success.

Hope that helps any other Nightster owners out there. It takes lots of exclamation points, beer, and you have to hold your mouth just right, but it does work.

Now, for those who feel that they aren't that patient, get the PC 5.
It replaces the existing ECM tray with a new one. PC5 sits under the factory ECM, but... It is MUCH harder to program, and a computer is required.
