Hi folks! Quick question for ya.

I've had my 2007 883 Sporty for about 3 weeks. Love it, but I need to move the bars back (which would cost $$$ with bars, riser, and cables), and would prefer it to be about an inch lower than it is. (Maybe progressive shocks.. but still more $$$).

Here's my dilemma: I could trade for a 2009 883L, which would put me into something that might be a better fit. Of course I will lose some $$$ since I just got the 07, but at least this way I'd have a scoot with a 2 year warranty.

The 883L fits me a lot better. I've sat on one in the dealership, but haven't been able to test ride one yet. A concern I have is that since the rear shock throw is so much less, that the ride quality could be harsh.

Sat on a 1200L.. very nice bike!

Anyway, all I'm looking for is your honest opinions and advice. What do you think?
