I like the Thunderheader on the Nightster. Not real pretty, but the 2 into 1 is simple and functional.

 

IRONIC, love the look of the shortshots on the Nightster. I just got an 09 Nightster and I've come to the crossroads of figuring out what I want for exhaust. To get the short shots, how much is it going to set me back after I get the V&H's, the heavy breather and the fuel pack (if I even need the fuel pack?)??? The HD dealership said after all was said and done, about $1300 for parts and labor.

SOOOO...I'm trying to save money...considering getting the heatshields ceramic coated black and some black Rush 2" slip-ons...any suggestions? I'm a new rider and need some advice!

Basanni Pro-something, I can't remember. Sounds great. I love to rev it out in second then decel... Roars nice....

 

My 2009 Nightster is the bomb with these black ceramic Hooker Headers. Best sound ever. Go ahead. Stare.

Well thank you to everyone who has posted.
I was gonna try to make my own but I need to practice welding first so I went ahead and purchased the sideshots and installed them myself.
It's been 1 month now since having them and I love them.
Nice loud sound and looks good. I get a little popping on deceleration but I plan to do the full stage I upgrade in the winter and that should take care of it.

I think the heat shields look sick. I like the look of the stock pipes but I want my exhaust to be black so I was thinking about getting the heat shields and slip ons. Any other black headers out there because I cant find any. Also would VH slip ons work with the Heat Shields by SE? I want a louder sound too. Im a new rider so let me know if this is a dumb question. haha. Thanks!

 

Those come in black or did you paint them or something? Im looking for the same look but I want to black out my bike.
