Default Rim/Tire Question

Right now I have a 16x3 rim on my bike would it be ok to get a 16x3.5 and the orginal tire fit still? I mean its only a half inch?!?

I would think that where you intend to have it mounted would be able to tell you if the 1/2" wider rim will hold the tire on or not.

Default 3.5 X 16 rim

The Moto Guzzi uses a 130/90 X 16 rear tire. The Moto Guzzi runs a 16 x 3.5 rim.

As long as you have about 3/16" clearance on each side of the tire sidewall right now, then spreading the beads by 1/2" is not going to hurt anything.

Motor safe.
