Default Progressive Shocks - Where to Purchase

Any good places to purchase Progressive shocks? I have an '08 Nightster, and after a couple of 200+ mile days I've decided that I really need to replace the shocks.

Also - I called Progressive and they recommended the 11 1/2" or 12" 430 series, which are probably about 2X the price of the 412s. Does anyone have experience with the 430 on a Nightster? ARe the 430's that much better than the 412s?

I checked the dealers listed on the Progressive website, and no one even lists the 12" 430 series for the Nightster, so I can't even get a firm price.

Thanks.

I guess I should also ask - any real difference between the 412, 418, and 430 series? It's hard to tell from the Progressive website what the real differences are, if any.

Check with Eastern Performance (forum sponsor). Great service and usually a good price.

Thanks - onestopmoto is who I was looking for. When I called Progressive the other day, this is who they recommended. I thought they said onestopmotor, which when you google is a questionable outfit that markets used autos (or at least there's alot of negative comments about them online).

Does anybody have experience or can comment on the difference in rides between the 412, 418, and 430 models?

i was on the progressive website and i think the main difference is gonna be an all black finish to any other finish i think the 430's are all blkwheres as the other ones have metal colored springs...atleast thats what i got out of it.

www.easternperformance.com , if they don't list it they will order what you want if you call or email them. Great prices and free shipping.
As for the 430, don't have them but have seen them in person and while they look very nice and have the hand adjustable collar they are identical in every way performance wise with the 412 so you pay for the look and twist adj. only.
Having run 412 in a couple varieties and spring rates I'd say they're only decent for the money but not necessarily that good. Now Works or Ohlins are a better choice and for the same price a Progressive 430 would cost you (they will be my next shock choice).
