Default Looking for new pipes...

Just bought a 2007 Sporty Custom 1200 with stock mufflers.

Would like to significantly increase the 'rumble factor' without sacrificing performance or doing a lot of mods on the bike.

Looking for some advice on good pipes available from my HD dealer?

Help. Thanks.

Best advice I can give is to not buy them from the dealer...unless you're made of money. In which case, I need a new friend.

I have v&h straightshot slipons which I bought on ebay (new) for around $200. I found they were the best bang for the buck, and have a real nice sound. Installed them myself (not a mechanic at all) and it was easy.

Check out Basanni, I switched from V&H short shots, to Basanni pro streets. I'm real happy with both the performance and sound.

After work today I'm going to the dealer to pick up Rush slip ons, baloney cut, with the 2" baffle. I can't wait! Only about $10 higher there than the internet and in stock!
