I agree with the other guys on this thread.. we've all dropped scoots at one time or another. You've just got to get back on the bike, and ride again. My last drop was 30 years ago, on a curve where a truck laid down a patch of oil, and she slid out from under me despite my best attempt at doing a power slide. That day I wasn't wearing my leather jacket. Bad choice on my part, but the school of hard knocks always has the highest tuition!

I've only had my Sporty for 2 weeks now, and it's the heaviest scoot I've ridden. I'm getting used to it, and loving every minute. Haven't purchased the engine guard yet, but it's on my list.

Ride safe, ride often, and have a great time!

I do wish I was wearing a leather, clearly. This damned hamburger elbow is still killin' me a week later and is taking it's sweet time to heal up.

I understand completely. My road rash from that incident developed a nasty infection in it. Wouldn't recommend the infection. Leather is cheaper!
