Default best night time glasses?

Hey guys just came back to NYC and at night I cant see anything. the glare is rediculous with all the lights. I got a pair of glasses that I switch out clear and tinted lenses. Anybody knowa good pair of glasses to wear at night?

Just be careful if you go with the transition lenses. I have the Wiley X Blink transitions and if I am in decently heavy traffic at night, they will darken to compensate, which cuts down the glare but all you can see is headlights...everything else is dark. I did buy a pair of amber lensed glasses for night riding from one of our site sponsors. The construction isn't as good as the Wiley X but I did get three pairs for $45 as opposed to 150 for one pair of the Wileys.

i just wear a pair of contoured shaped clear safety glasses and they work great. I've used a number of yellow nightime sunglasses in the past, but I hate them when i'm on well lit city streets, so i went to the clear safety glasses instead.

So, do you guys like yellow or clear better for night riding? I have a really hard time finding glasses that fit me snug and the only ones I have found so far for night are yellow lenses, I was reluctant to get these because I've never tried the yellow (honestly, I did not even know the yellow was specifically for night).

+1 on that. The amber/yellow lenses will cut the glare way down and will brighten your view some too makeing it much easier to see at night. I keep a pair in my windshield bag in an old sock and when needed I just swap them with my dark glasses.

I also go with the yellow. Scored some at Walmart for pretty cheap. Seems to make everything sharper. Feels like I see better with them on then off.
