The two Grade 8 fine thread bolts & locknuts I used to replace the passenger OEM footpeg mounting pins & "ojeezus" clips (because that's what you say when they fly off when you try to remove them) that I have cinched down good 'n tight prevent the floorboard mounting pegs (original hinges) from rotating up and backward quite nicely. So, all that is left is for the floorboards to rotate upward 90*. Also, I felt pretty comfortable with the mod because the wear marks of the floorboards on the mounting pegs indicated that the "half moon" wasn't making contact with the mounting peg.
