In the state of Illinois LED's are legal, but the restrictions are they can not be flashing or be any color combo such as red/blue that would simulate a police vehicle. That’s my sporty that JRK posted, and neither one of us have any issues with them at all. The LED’s that we use are custom made pods from JRK. You have to PM him for details about pricing.

Thanks man, I'll PM him when I get ready for some of those. They look awesome on your bike.

What LED kit was used on that sporty. I really like that white, and it would look nice on my red sporty.

Here in Georgia they frown on red and blue, but as long as they're not flashing, they probably won't take the time to stop you.

This weekend I attended the US Rider News 9th annual reunion in Helen, GA. There was a company from Indiana installing them. I waited until they were tearing down on the last day, so I got a good deal on the installation. I went with teal, which looks good on a silver powder-coat and chrome engine.

I got the blue at MBBW about 2 years ago. Always forget to turn them on though so I really have no clue what the stance is legally where I am. Seeing the white, I almost wonder if I got the wrong color. And I def need to add some to my tail end. Seeing the others, I think I look a bit lopsided.....
